How enrolment works at HLC

We do not do walk-in visits. We begin with an online application, and invite families for the next steps when there is potential alignment.

  • Apply below: Share your child’s details and what you are looking for.
  • Invitation to a dialogue: If there is potential alignment and seat possibility, we invite you for a conversation with our admissions team.
  • On-campus interaction (half-day): You will visit the school. Your child will be engaged through age-appropriate activities, including an assessment to understand learning needs and readiness.
  • Decision and offer: If the fit is right for your child and your family, and seats are available, we make an offer.

Timelines and seat availability

We are a small school by choice. It helps us stay attentive to children, to families, and to the day to day quality of learning.

Applications are reviewed in the order they are received. If there is potential alignment and seat possibility in the grade you are applying for, we will invite you for the next steps.

If invited, we host families for a half day on campus. This is a paid interaction (Rs. 5,000), and it helps keep the process thoughtful. While parents attend a short introduction to HLC and hear from alumni, children spend time with our educators through age appropriate interactions, including an assessment in older grades to understand learning needs and readiness.

After the interaction, we revert within a few days. If we make an offer and you choose to accept, the admission fee is to be paid within 5 working days to confirm the seat.

We hope our Q&A has helped you understand HLC before you apply. Choosing the right school is an important decision, and we want families to apply only if our approach feels like the right fit for their child.
